Pianist, composer and arranger Michel Bisceglia is a highly respected and vigorous musician from Belgium. As a composer and musician he worked with jazz icons such as Randy Brecker, Bob Mintzer, Toots Thielemans and Dewey Redman, and scored for feature films like Marina (laureate for best soundtrack at the World Soundtrack Awards) and The Whale (starring Charlotte Rampling).

As a touring artist, Bisceglia currently focuses on two projects: Michel Bisceglia Trio and Michelino Bisceglia plays Tim Burton.

Michel Bisceglia Trio

Exactly 20 years ago, Michel Bisceglia Trio released its first album ‘About Stories’ on RCA Victor. The trio recorded just five more albums ever since – and always in the same line up: with Werner Lauscher on double bass and Marc Léhan on drums. Their latest release is a Best Of compilation (on Prova Records) to celebrate their 20th anniversary. The album is out since June 2017.

Michelino Bisceglia plays Tim Burton

In this unique concert, Michel Bisceglia immerses the audience in the many fantastic worlds of Tim Burton. At the request of C-mine, Bisceglia arranged and orchestrated the characteristic music of Tim Burton’s films for 7-piece ensemble and a youth choir. The project was part of the exposition ‘The World of Tim Burton’ at C-mine, and will tour in November/December 2019.
